The full metal body realizes both vibration control and elegant style in an half size body that enables placement on a desktop to be a PC HiFi system or to be a small stereo system. The E40 combines the digital and analog world, so traditional vinyl-lovers as well as people liking modern computer audio both can have their fun with it.
Despite the powerful discrete output stages and high quality linear power supply, this small powerhouse doesn’t even occupy the space of an A4 paper sheet. It has 40 Watts per channel into an 8 Ohms loudspeaker, which can be tapped from the massive loudspeaker connectors, that will accept either banana plugs or bare wires. Four inputs are available, two line level analog ones, one MM input for your turntable and one USB input for digital computer-, tablet- or smartphone audio. Under most circumstances the internal power stages will completely satisfy, but in case more power or bass is needed, you can connect an external power stage or subwoofer to the stereo line level preamp outputs. As an added bonus, the E40 has an outstanding headphones output.
